please give a more detailed information about what's exactly happening so we may understand

Try this;

Important: unplug the power first!!!

Smash the monitor on both sides at the same time.

Bounce it on the floor several times (if you have a tft try throwing it out of a window).

Remove all screws located on the back and take out anything you dont recognize; that stuff shouldnt be inside anyway.

Finally, power up and you're good to go!

Disturbing? Nah, it's just that they sometimes need a good hit to understand who's the boss :smartass:

But about the problem, i really think you should give a bit more information about the monitor and what it does(wrong).

Good Lord...he hasn't posted back again...I really hope they didn't take this one seriously :dance2:

Could need a Degaussing if it's a CRT tho.
