jalaffa
Process Lasso improves system performance, responsiveness, and stability during high loads through dynamic adjustments to process priority classes. It can also automatically terminate undesired processes, apply default priorities and CPU affinities to processes, limit the number of instances a process can have, and log all processes. It is not a task manager replacement, but does have task manager like capabilities to compliment its primary functions. Process Lasso runs on all editions of Windows 2000, XP, 2003, 2008, Vista, and Windows 7.Thanks to thylacine for the update.Download

Nima
Any outlook on when we may see a x64 patch?I absolutely love this program, and the unlimited trial is still pretty good, but there are some features I would like to use on my system...Anyways, thanks for sharing! That old patch still works on both x86 and x64 systems, I tested myself on many computers, I myself still use that, it works even on latest versions. iaTa
Nima, any chance you could upload the old patch to mediafire or similar?EDIT: Are you talking about this patch for v4:Site: http://www.mediafire.com/Sharecode: ?kaoeyuu3oosm78lI just tried that and it didn't work.EDIT: Ok I found the working patch by going through every Lasso thread from the past year lol:Site: http://www.mediafire.com/Sharecode: ?84xrnxk729yuoswEnjoy!EDIT: Hmmm maybe that patch doesn't work. Help > About says it is activated but ProcessGovenor.exe in the log states that it's still the standard free edition. I'll have to investigate...EDIT: Looks like some parts are registered and some parts aren't. For example the register button in the main window is gone, automatic game mode works and you can start the engine as a service but on the flip side you can't save Windows scheduler changes. Odd. iaTa
I think ForeverZer0 was referring to automatic game mode which negates the need to enable game mode manually. As to that exact benefits of game mode I would assume it just stops Lasso from balancing a game and reducing its' CPU usage when you're playing.
