Ehsan
This was a question for me today and I found some useful infoIf I miss something please remind me :)To update MBAM in offline mode(manually) :The first step to manually update MBAM requires access to a working computer. This PC should have access to the Internet and should have a copy of Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware installed. After updating the copy of Anti-Malware from the Internet in this computer, open the database location as stated below. Copy the database file “rules.ref” to your PC in the same database location according to your operating system. If the first step is not possible, you can perform a manual update of MBAM definition files using mbam-rules.exe file.download it from here:http://data.mbamupdates.com/tools/mbam-rules.exeTo update SAS in offline mode(manually) :as I read this page, there is no difference between updates of free and Pro version of SAS but subject of getting it automatically or manually is the problem; If you want to use SUPERAntiSpyware (SAS) when you are offline, then there are two update files you need which you can download manually from the site.PROCESSLIST.ZIP & PROCESSLISTRELATED.ZIPdownload them from here:http://updates.superantispyware.com/appdata/sas/publicunzip them into the SAS install folder (when SAS is not running of course)then you can check your database definitions with this page:http://www.superantispyware.com/definitions.htmlThis may be useful if you don't want to connect a PC to the Internet to update because of suspected malware infections which might want to reach out if you have an active Internet connection; or maybe the TCP/IP or Winsock Stacks are corrupted due to malware and just don't work. It comes with "recent" definitions and can be updated to the very newest defs if you think it necessary.
tough to break
or you can view this page http://data-cdn.mbam....../version.checkand download the def based on the number posted on the page http://data-cdn.mbam...../[email protected]change the @ to version posted on the version.check pageexamplehttp://data-cdn.mbamupdates.com/v0/database/data/rules.7212.refafter that you need to rename back to rules.ref and paste it into database location as stated aboveThanks for this tut! I followed it and downloaded rules.7748.ref and renamed it to rules.ref. Even though I copied the rules.ref file and pasted it to the exact location, antimalware is still showing the old version of the definition file and wants to update online. :frusty: any help will be appreciated. :D
