Administrator DKT27 Posted June 21, 2011 Administrator Share Posted June 21, 2011 uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. With uTorrent, you can download files faster and contribute by sharing files and bandwidth. Additionally, uTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange. Thanks to thylacine for the update.Download

toyo
Is this approaching Final? I'm reluctant to try it because of the restrictive rules of some trackers. Could be even months until adoption ...
Administrator DKT27 Posted June 21, 2011 Author Administrator Share Posted June 21, 2011 Is this approaching Final? I'm reluctant to try it because of the restrictive rules of some trackers. Could be even months until adoption ...Pretty much yes. I still don't understand why to block it though, they haven't introduced another version of uTP. It's like blocking the adaption of innovation. rseiler
I don't get it either. Are they private trackers? It seemed to me that they released the first RC build a couple weeks too early--I recall their RCs in the past being a lot closer to final quality--but I expect that they'll be able to "ship" the final (not that there's such a thing for long) this month. It's like blocking the adaption of innovation. Not blocked, but use it at your own risk. Meaning sometimes things like not appearing connectible or not sending correct seed information and stuff happen (to me a few times, that's why I gave up un Beta clients). I don't mind it that much, v.3 would be added to the allowed list in due time, after some testing.

toyo
Updated RC7-->RC8, thank you thylacine!µTorrent 3.0 RC8 (build 25406) - Fix: RSS feed names would have the URL in the sidebar - Fix: fix systray icon issue when close-to-tray is set and not always-show-tray-icon (Note: The update notification for beta testers listed this update as RC7 in error, though the build number was proper)
