Kaspersky Internet Security 8

Hi there!

I'm wondering what r nsane users feelings about the new kaspersky gui they put in v 8.

So what do u think about it ?

To be honest yesterday I put kis to test but only the "gui" test coz I'm running kis8 on virtual os without net connection.

And here is my first results :

They have enhanced security area to packers which I think is a good idea :P

Also now there is easier access to logs - for example is very easy to find which app changed some registry value :P

But I need to tell you - I was looking in update screen for at least 20seconds and without any idea how to change from automatic updates to manual ;)

There is no button named Settings or something like that. They put some graphic button !

I don't know how other ppl but for me is a ultra non intuitive ;/

I 6 there was settings button, is 7 also and in 8 we got settings button which is not changing all the option coz some of them has graphic buttons ;/

I'm waiting how other users feel about new KIS gui :P

I'm tempted to try it, but even the Betas from ver 7 that they are releasing now before the MP1 messed me up. so i'll stick with the stable 7 ver until ver 8 reach ... stable :P ... level.
