Hi,

I would like to know if someone can please help me.

When I try to complete the installation of eset smart security 3.0.560

I'm not able to complete the installation. it says only that it's not possible

to complete the installation because of an error, but it doesn't explain why.

Can you help me please?

Thanks in advance

1) Uninstall your firewall.

2) Clean up your registry with a registry cleaner like jv16PowerTools

3) Re-install Nod32 (recommended version = 3.0.563)

4) Re-install your firewall

Just in case this doesn't work out for you, checkout the following article and report back, please:-

do you still have the old nod32 + the fix on ur comp ? if so then uninstall those 2 first, before continuing with the installation of smart security

i had the same problem. i had to disable Outpost's self-protection while everything was installing and it worked fine. so if u have Outpost then just do that and installation should run smoothly

as already indicated by Noddy, installing a second firewall on a system is not a good idea and can lead to serious issues.
