Hi

It looks like "TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works" is the successor to "TMPGEnc Xpress". Why not replace the old with the new?

Here is a repackage (I guess since only registered/paying members can download the retail package, it makes it harder to get hold of the download) of the current latest version 5.0.6.38.

The instructions are not in English, but,

very briefly:

Install application, obviously..

Change the following filenames accordingly (working from the installation directory):

"TMPGEncVMW5.RU" >> "TMPGEncVMW5.EN"

"TMPGEncVMW5Batch.RU" >> "TMPGEncVMW5Batch.EN"

"TMPGEncVMW5Encoder.RU" >> "TMPGEncVMW5Encoder.EN"

"Information\pegasysinfo_tvmw5.RU" >> "Information\pegasysinfo_tvmw5.EN"

.....note, the instructions given tell you to change the "RU" at the end of the filenames to "ES"; this is incorrect

copy the keygen to the installation directory and run it ("run as administrator" for Vista/7)

The files have already been patched, but you can click "patch" if you aren't sure.

Click "generate" and save the license file.

Since TMPGEnc Xpress has been discontinued, we did decide to replace it with TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works. But the whole business of repacked setup files for the latter confuses. We really should have access to an English retail version setup before listing it.
