Ad Muncher blocks ads and kills unwanted popups in all browsers. It also removes advertising in programs like Pando, SopCast, ICQ, Morpheus, Kazaa, PalTalk, iMesh, Bearshare, Yahoo! Music Jukebox, TVAnts and more. It speeds up page loading and saves bandwidth, thanks to the missing ads and pop up windows. It protects your privacy by blocking common third-party tracking systems and blocks rich media advertising like video ads, interstitial ads and floating ads.

Thanks to madeinheaven for the update.

I've never used it before because the workaround always looked like too much hassle. Going to give the 30 day trial a go though :sneaky: Took ages to get started as it didn't work with one click youtube downloader (FF addon) :frusty:

Wouldn't say ads were a problem before but always fun trying something different :D Thanks

Please do read the note on the downloads page before thinking about using this software.

This is a bit of a trial listing. We'll evaluate in the next few weeks.

Thanks for this, :). I started to use it again too, :). Awesome Ad Blocker!

EDIT: Though it still blocks some ads on the FP, even though I added a rule in "My rules" to ignore ads here... (No filtering on URL)

How is it different from extensions such as: AdBlcok, AdBlock Plus and others free tools ?

Thanks.

This is the best pop-up and ad-blocker in the market at the moment. I tried them all ad-muncher block almost %99. Rest of them not. It will clean all unwanted add and pop-up and gives you clean webpage and save your bandwidth. You will only find out when you use it.

This is a "feature" of Ad Muncher. The rules need to completely re-written in our opinion.

You need to whitelist google ads for it to work properly.

Which means it whitelists Google ads everywhere on the web? That's a bit lame...

EDIT: Or are their individual on every site?

EDIT2: Seems to be whitelisting ads here just fine today, :)

How do we do that?

I think adding these to the whitelist would do:

*googleads*
*googlesyndication*

But there could be more.
