Tweety.Abd
Never seen this error.. Is it enabled in your Manage area? A list of other extensions would be great help.. Which list did you try to add?Hello,It's not because of the extentions, since I tried adding the TPL on IE without add-ons and didn't work. I tried lowering the protection too, but I didn't work either.
HX1
Are you using a proxy? This one has really got me unless it is being blocked by something else...
Tweety.Abd
Are you using a proxy? This one has really got me unless it is being blocked by something else...Thank you so much for helping me out on this. I don't use a proxy or anything. I'm not using anything to block out anything, or any website.

HX1
Try from here.. http://iegallery.com/en/trackingprotectionlists/ main site that I went to is http://www.beautyoftheweb.com/# and then went to get additional stuff... using four of them and still works on mine.. I am going to check the one your at.. It actually is the site setup for the IE10 Platform Preview..EDIT: Went to your site ( IE10 ) and tried the Abine list, on top.. and went in and removed just fine.. The only thing I would do is make sure you have the most recent version of IE9, all updates from Microsoft installed, have it turned on.. which can be tricky you have to turn it on in add-on management and set the settings for it.. other than that . if particular list is unavailable I am unsure.. ( unlikely ) but odd..IMPORTANT: Do you have a Pop-Up blocker or ad blocker installed on your computer or as a part of a security suite?

I want to tell you that I use Ad Muncher 4.91 and I use Norton 360 5. I'm not sure if Ad Muncher is the cause, but I've tried disabling it and went to your 1st link and tried adding a list, but it didn't work and gave the same error. I have my Windows Updates enabled and I have the latests updates, just checked through the Windows Update and no new updates are available. Thank you so much again for helping me. HX1
Norton could be the culprit.. They tend to block sites all of the time.. Could be something there blocking it as well.. Have you tried downloading and reinstalling IE9? I have read in several places that IE9 RC.. does not properly and stably support ActiveX Filtering and/or TPL... Try downloading the current stable from the link I gave you above.. Uninstall IE through the Control Panel if possible.. then ( you could do a registry clean as well may not be necessary though ) .. The install from the new stable.. This could be your problem.. I found this http://www.quero.at/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1044 stating a bug in one of the RC's and could be you have downloaded and installed that version.. though it would seem you would have received an update for it in Windows Update.. You actually may not unless you are using Microsoft Update which gives updates for a wider range of products... Even so it may be best to reinstall the program.. HX1
Does your version state 9.0.8112.16421? This would be one you should go harass Microsoft about if it does... Really .. I am out of options for a solution... if your on the supported OS.. everything has been done properly... and everything is as it should be.. Then I really don't know.. Mine has installed and worked fine for two versions...including the RC... Unless there is some setting which is inhibiting you from downloading it then there should not be a problem.. or something in the settings elsewhere.. and it would definitely be something you changed from default.. I simply cannot solve or help you with it..

HX1
Sort of odd.. The site code is like this... <div class="TPLItem"> <div class="TPLAddLink"> <a href="javascript:window.external.msAddTrackingProtectionList('http://www.abine.com/tpl/abineielist.txt', 'Abine Tracking Protection List')">Add TPL</a> </div> <a href="http://www.abine.com/tpl/"><img class="TPLLogo" src="abine.jpg"></a> <p class="TPLListItemText"> Abine, The Online Privacy Company, is the leading provider of online privacy solutions for consumers. Abine's products and services allow regular people to regain control over their personal information while continuing to browse, interact, and shop online. </p> <p class="TPLListItemText"> Abine’s Tracking Protection List blocks many online advertising and marketing technologies that can track and profile you as you browse the Web. This list is updated weekly to keep you safer and more private. </p> <p class="TPLListItemText"> <a href="http://www.abine.com/tpl/">Visit the Abine website for more information about this Tracking Protection List.</a> </p> </div>Using the first one on the list as an example..So unless your blocking something there.. or that has to do with the link then I don't know...
