<img src="http://www.nsanedown.com/images/logos/kasp.png" class="logo" alt="Kaspersky Internet Security" title="Kaspersky Internet Security" />Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 is a totally new approach to data security. The main feature of the application is restricting the programs" rights to access the system resources. It helps prevent unwanted actions by suspicious and hazardous programs. The application"s capabilities in the protection of user"s confidential data have been considerably enhanced. The application now includes wizards and tools which substantially facilitate execution of specific computer protection tasks.

Thanks to <span style="color: red;">anuraag</span> for the update.

I at first noticed the new KAV/KIS 2012 posted by madeinheaven, but sure, why not repeat myself, thanks for the awesome share! :)

EDIT: At first glance I really love the changes and the new UI (escpecially the 3D flip from page to page) and my computer seems to be much more responsive now too, doing a scan atm and I must say, the impact to the system during that has reduced, so they've been working on that too, which is really cool IMHO. (Man that was a mega sentence, lol)

Is it true that license for the 2011 version will not be inherited by the 2012 version.?? WTF!!! Cause I have a genuine key of KIS 2011 with 292 days left, that mean I can't use that key for KIS 2012 thats sucks!..

@ all

Have you installed upon previous version or is it advised to uninstall it before updating? :(

@Siddharta: I installed on top of KIS 2011 v. 11.0.2.556, CF2, works fine for me, I don't know about others, though... But if you want to be extra careful, then sure, you could uninstall the previous one and use cleaning tools before installing this, but I think there is no need to do that...

To answer myself my previous question in the release notes I had the answer...

INSTALLATION

To install the application, run the setup file and follow the Setup Wizard's instructions.

1. The installation procedure of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 allows you to uninstall all applications that, when running simultaneously with Kaspersky Internet Security 2012, may cause slowdowns (up to complete non-operability) on the user's computer.

2. You can install the application over the following applications:

o Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 or 2011

o Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 or 2011

open key-loader >> search for a keyfile >> download the key

remove any trial or key installed prior and exit your KIS 2012

run trial life the first method (KKL) , once it's succeeded now you can cut off ur internet connection ... (it will corrupt your trial activation ability so you're only choice will be code activation)

run KIS 2012 again >> use a code to activate your KIS 2012 >>1111........11111X

it will give u an error >> then you can load the downloaded keyfile above , and it will work

P.S: if you kept ur internet on , it will not let you use a keyfile

In the Release Notes it says: "When installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 over the 2011 version, the previously activated additional license for the 2011 version will not be inherited by the 2012 version."

Like other members I tried & tested (Win7 x86 bits) insatlled KIS 2012 over 2011 version with the same genuine key of KIS 2011 It worked :dance2: I still have my 290+ days of KIS 2012. :D

Cheers! guys & good luck! :sneaky:

Thanks for your help!

I manage to get the "use a keyfile" in kaspersky, but I can not download any key via "key loader".

It looks like this:
