grouchysmurf
This includes the following statement:3. This driver package installs the HD audio driver, version 1.2.22.1.I do not know if this will replace excising sound drivers, or cause any conflicts.I strongly suggest that a back up by made of your current drivers before running this update.Edit: I ran this update. However, I did not detect the audio driver that the package description mentioned. Update went fine.Sorry about the warning, but I am a bit over protective when it comes to my sound. On a side note, an item I got from this very page, Driver Genius, is GREAT.It really does make these updates simple. It's the driver needed to get the audio from your sound card and transfer it across the hdmi port on the graphics card. It should not be a problem at all, I don't think it even comes with any options or configurations. Windows 7 comes with a Microsoft version of this driver preinstalled so this is just nvidia providing their own one to replace the default one. So nothing to worry about. :)
