Need help with VIRUS?

Recently tried to download avg and run a keygen from 9down.com (http://www.9down.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Internet-Security-v7-5-Build-503a1171-18862/) when a user named rachel78 posted:

in the file was a file called keygen but it just so happened to be some type of file to fuck up windows... so it removed my shutdown button, removed the run button, and disable taskmanager as a result of not having administrative rights anymore... i dont know what else it has done so far.. anyone have any ideas on how to fix it ? check the picture, any help is appreciated:

BTW, please tell me you had an antivirus running before you downloaded the file?

Firstly, reboot into safe mode, and if possible run Spybot, Ad-Aware and your AV. Hopefully this should find anything rogue on your system.

do a restore point going back before that problem. that helps with IE hyjackings.

btw which windows os and 32 or 64 bit you using?

which winrar version you using? older ones let nasties in

also check host file to make sure they didnt put virus companies in it to block you from getting an online scan.

I tried running in safe mode and no luck, i did have AV's running and i dont use winrar, i use PowerArchiver... it didnt detect any viruses though :\

if you can try a mel-wear scan to see if any thing nasty pops up. that's what happened to my other computer it bascialy killed my hard drive. T_T

also tried using system restore and it doesnt work either, only has one backup date... ;\

oh and its a 32bit windows o/s

just got one step closer to finding something, i made a .bat file to use command prompt... i got into gpedit... and i got taskmanager to turn on using that link above... is there anyway to get my start button and run button back using the same technique? thnx in advance..
