Tweety.Abd
Hi 'Olexijl'I understand from your message that: 1. The Catalyst driver 11.4 is incompatible with Skype.Addressing your concern is important to me; I will do my best to assist you.I would like to inform you that it'd be best if you would escalate your issue to the AMD Catalyst engineers, so they maybe aware of the problem and issue a possible fix for the same.Best Regards,

See affected versions. So please remove 11.4 from the topic or change it to 11.3 and 11.4.PS: Where can i inform catalyst engineers? I need some URL, or so. Administrator DKT27 Posted May 8, 2011 Administrator Share Posted May 8, 2011 Try writing it here. May sound odd but it seems they give a proper ear to feedback than to the forums.
Tweety.Abd
Hello 'Olexiji'I apologize for failing to provide you with a URL of the AMD support team. Here is the link: http://emailcustomercare.amd.com/ If you require a German support team (since you've got Germany's flag), here's the link: http://emailcustomercare.amd.com/default.aspx?language=DE I hope that answers your question. Olexijl
Found a solution for me, however it is not a solution for the problem.I tried to solve the problem from the other end and downgraded Skype. Skype 4 is fully compatible, Skype 5 not in newer Versions. Skype 5.1.0.112 seems for me compatible with Catalyst 11.5. Well, or simply downgrade to Skype 4.xxSo first of all, do you want the newest Catalyst? Or do you want the newest Skype? Thats the question you need to answer for yourself. You can get older Skype Versions from Oldapps.comOld Catalyst can be downloaded from their website. The problem should be in Skype at all, not in Catalyst.
