After using box fix(auto).. it says trial verison 31 days left...is it normal?

Yes it is normal. Every time you restart your computer trial time will be reseted to 31.

Cheers ;)

i haven tried the your automatic fix jet (manual one works just fine) i'll try it tomorow, or maybe i'll wait for that FOREVER fix... but any way i have a question about it.

how does that timer reset actually work? does the fix add a batch file to startup like in the manual version? or does it add a windows service like temdono fix?

Hi,bedha !

I have Box Fix (auto) installed, and there is nothing on Startup Folder and it uses ESET eval servers. Was installed today, but I am almost certain that it works.Had my first automatic update. You need to add Eset_ eval_ servers .

Till now it`s OK !

If tomorrow I see still is 31 days, then we are safe.

Mara says no need to restart in order to get 31 days again , so it`s smarter than TD 1.2 Fix.

cheers

Jofre

It add a service. But I made it smarter then TemDono so it always start before NOD32. User will never need two restarts to reset trial back to 31.

Cheers ;)

which one is smarter than temdono

i have two question...can we submit suspicious files to Eset and can i update the program components while using the fix?

NO!!!

well i see no problem with that... what eset should see is that you are using a trial version, so why you can't send them suspicious files?

and about program components this is tricky... if this fix is going to work with future versions then why not ;)

if they come up with a component that kills the fix then it's bad... but like experience show only major releases fix our fix'es ;)

fine then go do it

so is it ok or not? i have both turned off now...>.<

Because box is busy, you can PM me to send you his fix. Since I created application for applying his fix, I think he won't mind that I send somebody the fix.

I will send the same link that Box gave me. Here is MD5 checksums and Box can confirm it:

It's MD5 checksum, jofre. It's basically used to verify data integrity... so that you get some assurance that the file you downloaded wasn't altered.

You can use software like MD5 Check to compare the MD5 checksums.

Box,did you check out the Cybermania fix?

Im using it so i want to know is it safe...

Avoid Cybermania fix. It alters Eset's //ekrn.exe// file. Eset's core file has been compromised. That's BAD news!

For those of you who are using the BoxMaraEset3Fix, Just remember that mara- did all the hard work packaging it. If you need technical help just ask her.

Ok, this is a procedure to forever stop the expiration date to 31 days. (But we already have many of them??) However, this is a procedure that doesn't require any fix or patch. What you will get is the "HOW TO" forever reset your expiration date without worrying about Eset cracking down. This method works on WinXP & Vista x86. It has not been tested on x64. IN order to see its maximum potential, you must removed ALL fixes and patches of any kind and completely uninstall Eset. It would be great if you clean out the registry too. This way you can see the instant rewards. This method is completely reversible. I only recommend //Eset3BoxForever// for power and advanced users or those with virtual machines (for testing purposes). Consider this as a beta release. The //Eset3BoxForever// comes in Version (A&. You don't need both. There are 2 minor issues outstanding but they are immaterial. Just remember that you got the blueprint here from BOX. ;)

So what do you suspects BAD news with the CM fix?

And could you pm me your fix and explain to me how to install it.

Or in your opinion which is the best fix to use at the moment.

To be honest the Cybermania fix was working well, but after what you said i uninstalled it and im now using TemDono.

IF TemDono works, then just stay with it. As long as you have 30/31 days, then you are GOOD!

so ur telling me that the box mara fix is sorta like a beta and has minor bugs?

The box mara is not a beta and has no bugs. There were people who want to know how it works. Mara- packaged it so he is the expert on it.
