Eset Nod 32 Fix for 3.0?

The thing with the TemoDono & Dasumo fixes is that they use, for some reason still not explained, alot of connections to some strange places.

Can anyone explain?

I think what temp123 means is that these fixes don't link to Eset severs for updates.

I personally would be happy with a trial reset fix like the one for Kaspersky.

I may have what you are looking for. What OS and version of Eset are you using?

What kind of a fix are you talking about? :dance2:

But i also whould like to have it :)

The fix just reset of the trial period of Eset 642 back to 30 days. This is a temporary fix for those who don't like to use nodlogin. I'm not a programmer so you have to do it long hand. For XP users, the fix is very simple. For Vista, there are more steps because of the UAC. You must convert the retail version to a trial version by using any of the Eset's "eset_eval" servers and manually update it. I will need to know what OS you are using.

I'm actualy using Win Vista

but i guess if UAC is turned off then all that you said about WinXP will work properly?

Any way this fix seems to be very easy, but in the same time very smart too :dance2:

What i also would like to know is when on startup does that reg file asks for you to press OK?

If not then it's just fantastic :dance2:

behda,

I just pm you the Vista version. It is pretty much the same as XP except for the added steps for the UAC. When you start the computer, the change is automatic. You don't have to press OK or any thing.

A message from Nodlogin Team

This tip is for all those who have Windows Vista and want to kill time to be giving right button to execute programs and as an administrator with a view can be installed, or to ask permission to initiate such a program administrator.

Click on the Start button and write: msconfig and then give you enter (the same as going to "All programs - Accessories - Run" and type in the program ejecuar "msconfig" without quotation marks, of course.)

This will open the System Configuration window

They go to the Tools window and slide down to the bar, there enconraran option:

Disable ACU, select Start button and precionan

Reinician and you can install software without the need to be giving permission administrator.

If they want to return to their windows as it was, bottom of this option is Deshabiliar ACU Enable ACU, just do the same procedures with this option and remains as it was.

I hope will be useful. A greeting to all.

@ Box can you PM me the link

With ESS installed, try disabling the firewall (allow all traffic) and see if you have UPnP. If you have UPnP, than it's the firewall. IF that is the case, than switch to "Interactive filtering mode". You may need to "Configure rules and zones". If these don't work, than I am just useless.

you should not enable upnp in your router.. it is not safe

make a static IP and open your ports in your router, for emule use; tcp: 10003 and upd: 10010

make sure your open this ports olso in your emule preferences :frusty: ..

then you dont need upnp anymore..

btw.

if you use a router, you dont need smart security at all.., you only have to use nod32 antivirus.. because there is a firewall in your router..
