Eset Nod 32 Fix for 3.0?

Hi,All !

Anyone heard about a new fix called Max Patron Fix !

Well, I found and still I am testing it . First update ,no "problemo" ! Also, it doesn`t need Username and Password and I dont see servers on Advanced mode / Setup / Advanced Setup / Update... and when I click on "About" I dont see Trial Version.

Testing on ESET Smart Security 3.0.642 (winXP 32bits).

Let`s see what happens on next update and if it`s good, then I`ll give links from where those interested may download !

is it x64 compatible? does it run on Vista with no bugs? :P

Max Patron Fix :- Had 2nd update (manually) and seams to be in good conditions . Probably is, I can`t tell you if it is really compatible with Vista / 64bits systems. Till now no problem ! Updated fast.

If you have Backups you can try - " No try, No know !... ". I only tested on winXP (32bits) and ESS Business v.3.0.642.

I`ll start to send messages with links as soon as I upload on 2 or 3 websites.

Had some minutes ago 2nd update , so it`s working, without limitations of time. Tested on WinXP (32 bits) and ESS Business v.3.0.642

Must be updated manually.

Look what I did :

1= Install program AV and restart PC ;

2 = Copy / Paste Fix to : My Computer \ C:\ Program Files \ ESET \ Eset Smart Security.

3 = Apply Fix here, being on line ;

4 = Make a shortcut of the Fix and move it to Desktop.

Now everytime you wish to update click first the fix ( The shortcut ) and then " Update" using right-mouse-button over icon near watch . (Takes 2 seconds to update)

Ill still go for nodlogin since nodlogin works fine now though behaves differently in vista but it works

nodlogin is wut u need now....just use nodlogin till nsanes fix comes out whenever it comes out

It is, but don't care. It will still update, and does it really matters that the icon is orange? NO! Even if it's red, just wait a day and there will be new keys in the database. Plz be patient people, nodlogin is the best solution!

its orange bc the username and pass u got will "expire in 2 or 3 days" but it doesnt matter if u have ur nodlogin to run after every successful update it dont matter...so dont worry

Its OK! I have been using TemDono Fix for EAV_v361 for about 2 months and everything is working fine. Updating every hours with the latest def.

Unless there is a better fix, I think I will stick with TemDono fix for a while.

I think Trial version of EAV is OK, don't forget v2.7.39, the trial was 16million days with fix by nsane. As long as I don't get a prompt to purchase!

But of course if you have a full version, its even better! If it can be auto update, that is even better!

Theres no such thing as perfect fix. Like nodlogin. it updates automatically and uses genuine servers but you will experience orange and red alerts but dont be bothered cause nodlogin will continue to provide keys for us. Unlike patches we are still not sure w/c will work perfectly. So id say nodlogin as of now is by far the best possible option to use or else use another antivirus
