destinyii
TemDono's fix is working fine for me too on my laptop (running XP) but not on my new desktop (AMD running Vista 64).Not sure why but my bet is Nsane is taking longer for his fix as he's trying to resolve issues with NOD32's 32 and 64 bit versions?Anyway, he doesn't owe anyone the fix. So quiting bugging him. If it's such an issue with you, go purchase the software!
magnus33
The real question here is how long TemDono's fix is going to last.Could be days months or for good.Odds are though the first is likely and the sec is not so likely. We shall see. magnus33
Seems that nod itself has more work to do since nod32 version 3 isn't done yet.Hard to call this version anything but a beta when it has a anoying habit of using insane amounts of cpu power and freezing computers. No wonder this version is getting bad press and they lost out to kaspersky the top dog awards.Avg it is tell nod32 becomes worth using again.Bad isn't when the hackers have more stable fixes then the software..lol. dumble
Does the temDONO fix add's a server? Just like the KM92-fix?? Why the hell should you use temDONO's fix then? Because it's says that the licience expires in 2050? If you install nod32 and make sure you 'set update parameters later' at the setup you don't have a expiring-date at all ...Btw, what server does the temdono fix add?? vadim
So that's how he did it. Prefer my own to his, what with all modification of scan settings and pointless graffiti when his gets installed
Guest bmnot1
Wow, where the hell have you been? Of course his old server is down, as if the suspended page thrown in front of you wasn't enough to give you the slightest hint. If people would take the time to read the replies, they would know things like this. You must PM him to get the latest server information. As for me, I'm just an arrogant asshole but I did answer your question.Chillin smokin' a bong, username.First of all: I'm sorry for my poor english. It's difficult for me to write all of my thought (and read all of yours). :unsure:Anyway I'll try..Of course his old server is down, as if the suspended page thrown in front of you wasn't enough to give you the slightest hint. What from that is not clear to you?:I think KM92's server was closed.I tried to open the server url (http://eset.ihl5.com) in firefox. The url changes in ...suspended.page...Can anyone confirm that?I understood very well "the slightest hint thrown in front of me".I only wanted to be sure and share it with the guys in this thread. If people would take the time to read the replies, they would know things like this.I do just what your talkin about, maybe I have lost just some posts/pages in the thread. I'm sorry. :( You must PM him to get the latest server information.Thank you! :) As for me, I'm just an arrogant asshole but I did answer your question.Oh, here I'm definitely agree with you! ;)
jofre
So that's how he did it. Prefer my own to his, what with all modification of scan settings and pointless graffiti when his gets installed :) :(-----------------------vadimSo you discover the way how to change left days on TemDono FIX ...I also had done it yesterday and it`s not difficult...just had to change in Registry ( Edit ) oneline, and we can write " n"days we like. The most important is to know if it keeps updating automatically 1 month from now, because this fix by TemDono is based on a Eset trial version. At least Username and Password aren`t needed, which is good.So we have to wait and see what happens in future ! Till now is working fine !PS:- If the thing results, then we can change the Registry and give for example 300 years or more to those who intend to live for 3 centuries ... ;) cheersJofre
vadim
Hi Jofre,I couldn't actually figure out how to set a precise amount of days, I just tried some different random values in that key. Not that it really matters, ~50 years is more than enough! :)It should be fine after 30 days. Just to test I set the BIOS forward 40 years and it still worked, then set it forward 80 years and ESET expired but I don't think the evaluation servers care at all as long as your trial days haven't expired.I think the only thing that will break it is if ESET updates the program files so licensing is handled differently. jayhuffdaddy
Does anyone know how to go in and take the ugly writing off the top and change the amount of days in the registry. What do I need to look for in the registry. I did a control F and typed in temdono but dont want to delete something I might need.

What do I need to look for in the registry. I did a control F and typed in temdono but dont want to delete something I might need.In ESET scheduler (in the GUI, not registry) delete the task with temdono in the name (I can't remember exactly what it's called) but there should be only one. Then restart your computer and it should be gone.If it isn't you can try deleting this key in the registry:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESET\ESET Security\CurrentVersion\Info""EditionName"="TemDono FiX 1.1 (Free Updates - Expire in 2050)"There's also a .reg file left in your \WINDOWS\ folder that has temdono in it's title (again, sorry I can't remember the actual name) - try deleting that as well, but I don't think you need to if you delete the schedule task.
