Eset Nod 32 Fix for 3.0?

I think KM92's server was closed. My last update is 2761 (Nod32 3.0.621)

I tried to open the server url (http://eset.ihl5.com) in firefox.

The url changes in http://dotsi.pt/suspended.page/

Can anyone confirm that?

KM92 has a new server, PM for it! I think it only work for Nod32 v3.xx, for v2.xx you need nsane Fix

Guys atm i have 2 computers: a laptop(ESS 3.0.621(Trial)) and a desktop(NOD32 v2.7.0.39(Nsane fix v2.2), the desktop hasnt updated since 020108, the laptop has. My laptop won't even update with KM92's server... Anyone? Suggestions what might be wrong? I guess the update servers make a difference between 2.7 and 3.0?

Also an oddity, two installations of 2.7 + the old working FiX, the one on a server2k3 box updated yesterday, the xp one is still stuck at 2759 (20080101)

Wow, where the hell have you been? Of course his old server is down, as if the suspended page thrown in front of you wasn't enough to give you the slightest hint. If people would take the time to read the replies, they would know things like this. You must PM him to get the latest server information. As for me, I'm just an arrogant asshole but I did answer your question.

Don't you think you should show a little gratitude, for nsane putting much effort and time in his fix? I don't think this is the way to thank him for his hard work... Nsane will release his fix when he and his beta testers think it's time to do so, until then just hold on to your trials and don't get hostile. No need for that ;-)

I agree ... No need... after all, all (or most) of us, used for years nod32 nsane fixes... and that was great ... (and still is).

I can only say I'm thankful for that. And we know, that nsane has his problems to resolve and his life isn't simple at all - remember what happened recently to nsaneproductions?

Nope.Neither automatic/manual update works.Even with KM's server.jUST SAYS it is up to date,and it is not. :dance2:

You must try to update manually using servers, one each time and several times each one.

This fix is confirmed and working. I installed it without uninstalling Nod32 v3.0621.0 Business Edition. It also added a server. I wasn't able to test it because my Nod is up to date (2779).

If that's a (sideways) remark regarding our little spat...I don't believe this is true...I think you just made a mistake, and everyone is allowed to do that.

I only hope you realize the irony of your attacking my post, based on my post count, when your's was no higher than mine here. That was a bit odd, and unwarranted, but I never thought you were arrogant or the other thing you called yourself :rolleyes:. I put no stock in a persons post count, it's their actions (or lack of) within the community that I base my views on. Respect for others is more important in my books, and a willingness to help those with less ability than you...that's what I appreciate more than anything else.

I've found a few times that the updates didn't work (V3) using KM's server, but reinserting the URL into the Update Server list fixes it again. Still can't figure out why this happens, but sometimes it seems that an empty line gets inserted into the top line of the server list when entering a new update server URL, and while it works for a time like that, it seems that eventually the program tries to read the empty line as the server URL and the updates fail. Everytime this has happened to me, I notice that the server URL is no longer listed on the main update page, opening the "edit server" window shows the space and then KM's url.

I delete the old one from the list and enter it again when this happens and it starts working again.

I hope that's all that's happening for you too and hope this helps.
