Vystal 2008 Beta

Every now and then I get bored with my desktop and decide to

redecorate.

Enter Vystal 2008 Beta.

It seems to have a pick on it, so I gave it a try.

Unfortunately, the program does not work, being beta this is not a surprise,

however, since it has not been updated in so many years, (2008?), and

after visiting its' homepage it does not seem likely that it ever will.

I run XP Pro, sp3, and my system is very stable.

The emulator part of this program fails to load, therefor any decorative changes

that are made will not apply. It is too bad, because the control options are nice,

enabling you to change the hue and blur and effects of its' border decor.

But it just does not work.

However, like I said, I was bored. After some researching I came across another freeware program

that does what Vystal proposes to do, but this one works.

It does not have the cool controls like Vystal, but it does have the ability to load pre-made skin packs

that have all the colors anyway. You do not have the blur adjustment, but the program is clean.

File name is True Transparency.

I am not familiar with how to post an outside link proper, so here is where an admin can step in to correct it, or just Google the file name
