I just hope they'll see it :uhoh:

They need to clear the cache ctrl+F5 (in Firefox) to view it (the announcement).

hey guys; I am a blind person who uses a screen reader, and i saw this announcement. :D

a work around for people who are affected by this is to click on one of the theme change links on the homepage. I always use the clean link, which for some reason reloads the homepage with all the sections. I use NVDA

http://nvda-project.org

I haven't tested this with other screen readers, but IMO it should work the same for Jaws, and Window Eyes, since the brows mode most users are used to are similar. Hope this helps, love nsanedown!

Any updates? hope you guys sort it out soon.

Sadly, no.

As I pointed out in the announcement this will require some patience :(

We are looking into several options at the moment, but I hope everyone is able to see that there is no 'huge' impact on the value of our site; all updates are still posted and the links/fixes provided (albeit by members, sometimes). It just takes a little longer to get to them.

@Olexijl:

I can access the proxy fine. Going back to what you were talking with nivrid05, try downloading with IDM completely disabled ^_^

Edit: Try adding this to IDM <b>http://*proxy.nsanedown.com/*</b>, If it works you can thank toyo and Siddharta.

My IDM will download files only, when i start it via Flashgot extension. So all integration in FF is currently disabled anyway.

That is because i wanna have a choice between FF download manager (tuned with Download Manager Tweak extension) and IDM download.

So at this point i do not use any IDM. I added the exception, however. Via IDM or not, i cannot download via proxy. Earlier i never experienced problems.

Besides, why i cannot insert an image here? I get an error: " You are not allowed to use this image extension on this forum"

@Olexijl:

Try downloading from IE. That's what I do if I'm having trouble downloading from Firefox.

@shought - interesting addon - thanks

@Olexijl - which version of Firefox and IDM are you using? Myself with Fx 3.6.16 and IDM 6.05 Build 10 (IDM CC 7.2.8 in Firefox) don't have any issues downloading from the proxy now. I have had in the past experienced the same thing as you get now though.

FF 3.6.16 + IDM 6.05.11.

Besides, downloading with IE9 does not help. It does not work.

My best guess would be that the GET request from Olexijl would, for some reason, say HTTP/0.9.

Well. I even backuped my profile data for FF and rebuild the profile to be sure, it is not corrupted. It is not.

The problem is, that sometimes i can download, sometimes not.

Well, thats it.

No Downloads. Proxy.php Download. Disabling any extensions do not help. Profile clearing do not help.

I have even disabled DivX extensions (webplayer), and Java. No help.
