flav
I have a problem when I try installing a new virus scanner. It always shows a message that i need to uninstall eset when i've already uninstalled it. I tried searching for it in my computer and deleting any file with the name eset. but nothing is happening, the same message pops up.

Bushimi
Hi, sometimes there is a glitch with the installer and if it does fail download ESETs special uninstaller, run it in safe mode - it willclear any traces that are hidden, reboot and try again. I come across this from time to time and this has always fixed it for me.http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2289&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1301680328238Good luck with either solution. Siddharta
Anyway, that method is a bit extreme and one should be cautious. They advise to back up data before uninstalling that way :read: . Good luck! :)
motograter
try going into regedit and delete eamon.(you'll have to scan for it i forgot exactly where it is) Make sure to back it up. It is something left by eset that a couple AVs pick up on.
