Zeus_Hunt
QuickTime Alternative will allow you to play QuickTime files (.mov, .qt and other extensions) without having to install the official QuickTime Player. It also supports QuickTime content that is embedded in webpages.Download

Nocturnus
QuickTime Alternative (QT7) Lite 1.90Latest Changes: Updated QuickTime components to version 7.2.0.240Removed DirectShow filtersMinor changes
erRor67
From the Betanews comments:This is going downhill. With 1.90, the DirectShow filters have been removed. That means you can't play MOV with Windows Media Player; you have to get the filters by installing K-Lite Codec Pack. And since the Lite version of QuickTime Alternative doesn't include Media Player Classic, it's not real useful by itself anymore. So this quicktime alternative is only useful if you install K-Lite codec pack along side. Otherwise, you can try switching to QT Lite.
