I don't quite understand the "It runs for about 30 sec. then stops" bit...do you mean a manual defrag? I'll double check later, but haven't noticed any problems so far. File downloaded is 41,394K. The x64 setup in shajt's release is only 7,680K...is this just compression or is there a real difference? It will automatically install the version of OS you have.The Setup.exe is a patch and not a installer (kinda mentioned in the readme). When I uploaded the the fix, I did thought that it maybe a bit confusing. shajt Posted March 22, 2011 Share Posted March 22, 2011 I probably made a mistake with x64 patch by not renaming setup.exe to patch.exe.I was in a rush to release it and I've used third-party installer in order to do the job needed in x64.That's why the size of the patch is large.Default name was setup.exe so I forgot to rename it.But that really doesn't matter , main thing is that patch is working :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So if the current patch doesn't work in coming versions, can you make a smaller sized patch if possible. :)Current patch is not 'Universal' , if they changed DLL files , I will have to make a new patch.Yes, current patch will work with future builds probably, but any new DLL files will be replaced by .951 buld DLL's.So, I don't know at this point would it be wise to patch new build with older patch.It's not Enterprise version that is big , only x64 patches are 'big' (I mean... 4MB , cmon ... :P )But fine , I'll see what I can do for x64 and make the patch smaller. So if the current patch doesn't work in coming versions, can you make a smaller sized patch if possible. :)Best solution I can offer is to make 2 patches, small ones, one would be for x86 and the other for x64.With a keygen which could be used for both systems.Drawback is that after running the patch , you would have to manually enter serial number and then activate the product with activation key.But people don't like manual labor , it's either 'Next,Next,Next' or one click at the 'Patch' button :DBut either way, it doesn't matter really, if it's big for FP , there are links in CC thread.I don't see an issue here and I don't mind if it's not frontpaged.
