For over a decade, Diskeeper has led the way in Windows system defragmentation technology, and Diskeeper 2011 continues with the tradition of true "Set It and Forget It"® performance enhancement that is a hallmark of the Diskeeper name. Whether you've used Diskeeper before or not, you may already be familiar with some of its features, but Diskeeper 2011 adds refinements to these features, and a number of other core enhancements. New users will find Diskeeper to be easy to use, yet comprehensive in its capabilities. Experienced Diskeeper users will recognize familiar features, but see improvements in Diskeeper (and their system) performance. Diskeeper 2011 with IntelliWrite prevents up to 85% of fragmentation and makes every system faster and more efficient than ever before possible. When fragmentation occurs, I/O resources have already been wasted. Now most fragmentation can be prevented, significantly speeding up file reads and writes, boot-ups, backups and AV scan. Clean fragmentation-proof disks last longer, use less energy, require less cooling and zero administrative support. Diskeeper also includes powerful defrag engines for what isn't prevented and runs in real-time, with zero resource conflicts.

Thanks to thylacine, anuraag, jofre, and Freddyfre for the update.

It works for me!!!

Maybe I've luck but I put the step I did:

1) Install diskeeper and DON'T launch it at last step of the installer.

2) Stop Diskeeper service by running services.msc (I assume how to do this) and then STOP IT. (Don't close it because you will need it later in step 4)

3) Follow the 2 steps mentioned inside the file 'Diskeeper2011-BetaMaster' (I know it says 2009 but it works with 2011)

3a) Replace file.

3b) Run keygen.

4) Run Diskeeper service again.

5) Run Diskeeper. ( If you selected to create a shortcut in your desktop... Then, it's time to use it !!! )

Well... That it works for me and maybe it works for YOU...

Best regards and many thanks for all team @ Nsane.;)...;)...

It just seems to work. Did you try to do a manual defragmentation? Automatic defragmentation also does not work.

Cheers ;)

Tested with Diskeeper 2011 Pro Premier Trial 45 days Here

Does not work. Actually, it works just once. If you restart computer or diskeeper service, it stops working, although it still shows it's registered.

Cheers ;)

I just can put the results I have:

When I start Diskeeper (I use the shortcut in my desktop but you can use the way that better suits to you I'm very sure that's not important) I see 'Diskeeper Performance Report'...

In 'System Configuration Status' It says:

(Green checkmark) - Diskeeper is configured for optimal performance.

(Green checkmark) - IntelliWrite is enabled on all hard disk volumes.

(Green checkmark) - Automatic defragmentation is enabled on all hard disk volumes.

Keep an eye if this options ALL have a green checkmark on it. If not... please, don't waste your time reading more because the steps I wrote didn't work for you.

If in the section mentioned above do you have ALL green checkmarks then look at the last section of the report which it says 'Volume Details'.

Here you can see how Diskeeper has worked... Pay special attention at colums named 'Fragments Prevented', 'Instant Defrag' and 'Fragments Eliminated'. If you see any numbers on it then CONGRATULATIONS!!! because do you have Diskeeper working and you can see here how well it's doing it's work. if you don't see any numbers (all columns have zeroes) then... you must wait for a better medicine.

I hope this can help to any people who want to test if Diskeeper is working or not.

Best regards to ALL @ Nsane...;)...;)...

PS: I run Diskeeper on Win XP(x32) sp3.

@Ehsan

Thank you very much for your (+1). I only try to give some advice to someone that's having troubles making work Diskeeper with the provided medicine. I'm sure this steps can't work for ALL but if only one person can getting to work then my humble assistance has done it's job.

Best regards and best wishes.

Usually, I don't run Manual Defrags with Diskeeper because I prefer it does it's job automatically (maybe, because Diskeeper alerts when you try to run a manual defrag and it's adviced to simply let Diskeeper do it's job in automatic mode). Anyway... The question is: Certainly, I can't run Manual defrags but I'm very interested in Automatic, Intellywrite and Instant defrag... For me... it seems all works well because I see Diskeeper is defragmenting my volumes (the reports, the dashboard, confirm this to me).

But... Do you mean that the numbers of the activity of Diskeeper are 'false'? and

How can I really be sure that Diskeeper is doing its job? Maybe now it's working but your comment bring me a doubt about this .

Can anyone give me an answer?

Thank you in advance...

Well, that's the problem. I also don't do manual defragmentation, but if manual does not work, question really is, does other functions works?

Cheers ;)

One way is to do an analyze and save the .bmp.

After a day or two...do another analyze and compare both .bmp.

There should be some changes depending on how much is being auto defrag.

Tried Freddyfre "crack " and followed exactly all steps, but also failed for me. ( Mine is WinXP Pro SP3-32bits)

Going to use the 45 days trial , maybe a new / good medicine appears meanwhile... if not I´ll return to v.14.0.913 that was fine.:)

Well, I got it to work in my virtual machine. The problem is I don't know exact steps. Now I can't get it to stop working. Manual defragmentation always works. I'll have to reinstall Windows in VMWare to see if I can do it again.

Cheers ;)
