RadioActive
I have a Creative Zen X-Fi Style, and I like it but I'm looking for new ear-buds since I don't like the standard ear-phones. What I'm looking for is something that offers clear voice, good bass (but not excessive 'coz I hate muddy bass), and great noise isolation/canceling...not to mention something that fits comfortably. My budget is around 150 EGP~300 EGP ($25~$50).Here are what I'm comparing (rating from Amazon.com):1. Creative EP-830 (305 EGP) - 4.2/52. Sony MDR-EX57LP (270 EGP) - 3.3/53. Creative EP-650 (200 EGP) - 4.6/54. Skullcandy Titan (195 EGP) - 4.1/55. Sennheiser CX200 (190 EGP) - 4.2/56. V-MODA Bass Freq (175 EGP) - 3.8/5Well, those what I found but I'm also open to suggestions. I doubt I'll get (1) or (2) 'coz they're kinda overpriced. One thing I find appealing about (4) is that it comes with memory foam buds, which is great for fitting in-ear and I hear it offer great isolation. So, I'm waiting for any feedback. I'm not an audiophile but I do HATE noisy audio and muddy bass.Any thoughts are appreciated/
Atasas
its one of them things, that your ear is more important, than review by somebody ('ie's ears)I know- you got to buy in order to open and try it and then it becomes non refundable...General advice would be- dont get tempted by poor make- some are good/some bad- budget ones- lottery too. I got 6 pairs for my phone as some are uncomfortable, some sound is poor, but the best- surprise to me also is Sony's own plug ins- really good overal
avmad
I'd recommend looking on this site http://www.head-fi.org/forum/list/103 Im not up to date on the latest stuff, but SoundMagic do some great value for money iems. I bought the PL30 when they first came out for about $20 but they've become a lot more poular nowdays. :D Nice sound for the price. But I use IE8 nowdays from Sennheiser but way out of your price range. Very very nice though B) The Headfi site should really help.IEM (In ear monitor) gives fantastic sound and isolation. Much better than buds. They should come with different sizes to get the snug fit needed. Hardly know theyre there when fitted well.
maniac2003
One of the best comparisons, in my opinion can be found here: http://anonymz.com/?http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/450407/multiple-iem-shootout-v-

So, do you have the problem? Also, do you happen to know the difference between the CX300 and the CX300-II? Thanks.

Thanks. The CX300 tended to have a bit too much bass which overpowered the mid range so vocals became slightly distorted whereas the CX300-II are a lot more balanced,if you give the CX300 II around 30-50 hours burn in you'll really end up with a very nice sounding set of ear buds for a budget price.I've heard a few people complain about the CX200 problem with the headphone cable rubbing against cloth and making a loud kind of rubbing noise and funnily enough the skullcandy earbuds i had suffered from the same annoying problem. If you do end up getting the CX300 II be aware that theirs a lot of fakes on ebay so try and get them from a reputable store like amazon.Senheiser cx300 iiSorry about the terrible quoting. :sStaff Note: Fixed it. :)

RadioActive
Ahhh silly me i didn't realize you were in Egypt,i hope you find them mate as their very good value for money.Good luck. :D Well, I spent hours today looking for it but couldn't find the CX300/II anywhere so I had to settle for the CX200-II. I got it somewhat cheap and the sound quality is amazing (compared to my old earphones), the bass is nice, the sound is not as loud as my old ones but it's clear, not to mention the the noise isolation is pretty good. All in all I'm satisfied with it. Thanks for your help :)
