Hmms don't think so, well not for me at least. Since the4 link there just tells me that I'm using a 64-bit browser and it doesn't support it.

Security update available for Adobe Flash Player

Critical vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris. These vulnerabilities could cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.

Adobe recommends users of Adobe Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris update to Adobe Flash Player 10.2.152.26.

Today, we’re launching Flash Player 10.2 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. We’re especially excited that this release introduces Stage Video, a full hardware accelerated video pipeline for best-in-class, beautiful video across platforms and browsers. Additionally, this version of Flash Player offers all the new capabilities previewed in our beta release, like custom native mouse cursors, multiple monitor full-screen support, Internet Explorer 9 hardware accelerated rendering support, and enhanced sub-pixel rendering for superior text readability.

Flash videos give me a split screen with a green horizontal line at the middle. Disabling hardware acceleration fixes it.

Well.. I mean like .. almost like buffer overrun/flow.. bringing videos.. and some flash ads. ( possibly your system to a halt... Noticed this after watching several videos and ads on CBS.com and some on Hulu.com ... but FOX videos do not do it at all... and it usually takes a while before it happens..

@heath28m:

Yes, sometimes I have that. Although, I think it has something to do with Firefox memory leaks.

I mean, whenever anything happens and I look at Task Manager / Process Lasso, Firefox eats up +1GB.

Restarting Firefox is the only way to fix the annoyance for me. I do hope that Mozilla fixes this before they release 4.0 Final.

You are talking about disabling it for the system.. not a setting in Flash Player... ( just realized I have it al the way on for a 64 MB chip only capable of DirectX 6 and some 9 )
