Test Self-Defense of AV and IS On x64 (January 2011)

This test investigated the feasibility of self-defense in anti-virus and Internet Security from possible attacks.Tests were performed on Windows 7 x64. All tests are carried out with local administrator privileges. The following was tested:

  • Change permissions of files and registry keys.
  • Modification / removal of modules.
  • Removing the antivirus databases.
  • Modifying / deleting important registry keys.
  • Complete the process.
  • Modification of processes / code.
  • Unloading drivers.

This site is Russian and choosing Kaspersky for best internet security is not real.only use AV comparatives :) .
