Hey.

I plan to try a seedbox, but do not know which one to try.. So many.. :s

Do you have any experiences you want to share and maybe give me a recommendation. :)

https://www.seedunlimited.com/ looks pretty good, but they are sold out. 15$/mo for 100GB disk space and 100mbps network.

go for feralhosting or just get your own server kimsufi or ovh, or server.lu.

Or simply just sign up at astranews. Alot less hassle and all the same files. The advantage to private trackers is great community and some older releases.

i have bought the 25$ xirvix deal twice and loved it,cheap and good speeds,8-9mb's up 9-10mb's down is good speed for such a cheap box,and i found the service to be good to :)

if u use a seedbox wisely, even a cheap one,u could build up enough buffer to last more than a year easily :D

I'm happy with using a small shared seedbox from Pulsed Media

Suits my needs. Mostly for music torrents I use it. Running 24/7 and gives a great ratio at those "hard" to get great ratio (non-scene) sites.

I also have a Astraweb account for usenet stuff. I like the one off payment for a certain amount of GB transferred. Since mostly used for software fixes the quota lasts forever.

Heavy (seedbox) users seem to favour Feral Hosting.

I personally use Feralhosting, being a "Heavy" torrenter.

I have the basic £10 a month slot which offers me 333Gb of storage a 1TB bandwith allowance on Uploads.

There are some good things about feralhosting as well as there variety of packages.

Upon purchasing your slot you can pick the torrent software you want to use (See screenshot below)

I have also included some other screenshots, to show you how simple feralhosting makes it to manage your account, payments as well as disk space and bandwith use.

Above is your current installed software page

Above is the page to manage your payments for the server you have bought

and lastly is the bandwith and disc usage page.

Hope some of these can help you make your decision the others that other people have suggested are quite good as well.

I have been with feralhosting for a while now and it may seem im being bias? but I really like the support you get from them either in the form of a support ticket which is usually responded to within 24 hours if not sooner, and if you want quick help theres plenty of FAQ's as well as a IRC to visit on what.cd's IRC network.

If you have any questions or want to see any screenshots of the backend system please feel free to reply here or pm me :)

If you want your own server just get a kimsufi 2G

OK network, for the price its hard to beat for a seedbox.

http://www.seedboxsolutions.com/

Great products, great support, great service. They also do Windows Server 2008 Standard for only £4.99 whereas majority of other companies charge upto £30 for the OS alone.

They will per-configure your dedicated server free of charge with all the needed software clients/webui/ftp/security/maintenance etc etc.

Check em out.

Happy user of whatbox for a month now. I was at useed before but they have gone out of business. If you like irc you will find the whatbox crew there and they will help you with their service plus teach you basic stuff if you get lost which surprised me :)
