They do say if it looks to good to be true then it probably is. I've read all those posts in that thread, so it seems you're not the only one who's gone for this. Hopefully you can get a return on your money already paid.

$150... that's roughly £70. There's no way in hell I'd even consider buying a laptop for that amount of cash, even if it is provided with a free copy of Linux. Think about it... you're looking at a processor, memory, hard drive, lcd screen, labour involved in building aforementioned laptop etc... None of this could be sold at that price without making a loss.

Even the so called $100 Laptop is still (I believe) in the works, as they've only just managed to get it down to $150 but it's very basic.

Check your CC company and see if you can get your money back that way. I know in the UK, you are automatically covered for any amount over £100 using a credit card, but not a debit card.

Good luck :angelnot:

Trouble is as you've read probably- until proven that goods are not delivered( not exist) - there is no way to get the money back! (credit agreement)

Bastards! bastards! bastards! bastards!

bastards!

By the way I've learned that scam originators are not from UK....

Bastards! bastards! bastards! bastards!

Due to the unexpectedly high traffic to our support line past 24 hours it broke down. We want to inform you that we are currently working hard on getting a phone line back on air.

Should have been enough!
