alexcmia
You guys recommended (and served me on a dish) the best software around. I literally spend four days downloading, carefully trying in VMware and installing what I consider I could use. Time has come for you to lead me onto a good firefox theme. Oh I know it's highly personal, but I think subjective opinions from professionals is much more constructive than countless hours browsing and trying different themes, only to find out there is nothing I like. Presently I'm using myFireFox, with chicago persona, and Glasser addon.

HX1
I actually don't use any theme any more.. BUT I know of several that I do think are quite good.. and I have one question.. Why use a persona if its not being used or seen in anyway with Glasser? Just a question.. as I see nothing of it in the screen shot.. I also noticed that your screen is really small.. so do you have a small screen.. Because I think some changes to the UI could benefit you in some ways allowing for more viewable area.. Mine for example.. completely minimal all extras things removed. Remains functional.. I use keys to navigate and access all items... I accomplish this by using a couple of extensions mixed with settings changes.. and with a Hotkey combination I can get even more minimalized.. The Windows Border is done by TrueTransparency and all other aspects match the Windows Style I am using at the time..Recommendations.. ( some good ones I have seen around waiting on several concepts for FF4 ) http://fav.me/d357vvlhttp://fav.me/d2mveu2http://fav.me/d2gjwzthttp://fav.me/d2nv0wihttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6991/ - Good for portable versions..Extensions...My Collection includes all extensions needed for the minimal appearance, UI changes, and behavior.https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/collections/0ofu/0ofu/My Collections have went away .. :P
alexcmia
Well, persona is used to change statusbar color. From blue to whiter and brownish. This way it look like IE8 in Windows 7. Without persona it's blue on top and bottom, looks like XP.

HX1
http://bos.clanhost.cz/addons.phpThis add-on seems to be like not maintained on the Extensions site for FF for w/e reason.. but use the 0.2.1 link.. I remember having to look quite a bit to find it.. but it was in the comments for the main one..

HX1
Welcome.. :D I think the others that are not compatible are enabled by changing a few settings... I remember several ways I did this.. some were done by editing the files within the extensions.. others were changed to be compatible using MrTech... some were installed and became supposedly incompatible but posed no problem and are simply just not been updated by the Dev.. Upgrading to FF4 may be problematic for me.. I know of a few things I really need to have for it.. but I have yet to see any updates.. for compatibility.... I think maybe because of the areas yet to be addressed for the finished product.. but then again it could be because so many devs don't try to keep them up to date ahead of time and have to be prodded to do so.. It happens though..
Alpha1BA
Im currently using Black Stratini, however I am somewhat biased towards dark themes! if these appeal to you simply type "black" when searching for themes within addons and there you will find a good collection! regards

portage
I use good old personas :DAll the other themes like firefox 4, glasser slow down firefox for some reason
alexcmia
Yep, thus far I didn't find a replacement for my IE look-a-like. Sure, themes, the more complex, slow down firefox. With themes, and addons, I left from 1 second cold start to 8 second cold start. But I figured I'm not in the hurry. I added firefox as priority into eBoostr, still the same thing, I bet it still has to load those add-ons and themes from hard drive. There is a firefox prefetcher out there, available in source code, it did not work well on Windows 7. It would load firefox and there would be firefox icon in the tray, but when I clicked on program link in start menu, it wouldn't bring it up. It needs some work. An ultimate firefox preloader should keep those add-ons and themes in the memory, so that when firefox loads, it loads everything quickly.
HX1
Try the BossKey Extension I listed above.. I think it is in here.. will definitely help.. I never close the thing but I rip out the extra memory space and throw it out and away hotkey it back up instantaneously when I need it...
