quotrice
I'm just wondering if using a different media player will actually give better audio/video quality... I've been hearing alot about AimP and foobar for audio and how it works so well on systems with low amounts of memory but memory really isn't a problem with my computer, so I was wondering if there really is a difference in the sound processing of one audio player compered to another... and in the same respect I wanted to know if using VLC gives better video quality then Daum PotPlayer or is it all really just personal preference? Once again sorry I couldn't word this better I hope somebody will understand what I'm trying to ask here..
Atasas
I use and have experienced difference big time as for sound. For one dedicated Audio players are that- quality is by miles better, but if you have tried and did not see no difference yourself- matter of what audio equipment you use. So, dont matter in this case then

Atasas
In such case get Foobar or JetAudio or many other , then compare same track play with WMP- you'll never look back just for test-

miss_ayu
yea they do..not to mention that windows media player freezes my pc >.>vlc all the way, or nero, depending on what i need to watch i guess...sometimes the image on nero is better than in vlc, for the same file, as well as audio, but it really depends on the file. HX1
You should delete your Media Library database.. it could fix it.. I had this problem with a system that would lock up and constantly would update... for no reason.. and it was the only way to ramp down the resource usage.. and make it stop to where it was usable...
