Olexijl
Yeah man, that is the good question ya?Do we all need that information, they are posting out? Shoould we read all that, what our politicians are or maybe are? Can we live without all that? That is NOT a simple questions. I wanna know, what are you thinking of Wikileaks in general.Wikileaks Website IP: http://213.251.145.96/Youtube Video: http://4c3.de/jsOlexijl

shought
Should we need this stuff? Nope.Do we need this stuff? Apparently, yes. Conclusion: proper governments should be entrusted with a certain level of secrecy. Fixing issues between nations, corporations or even individuals is impossible if all government information is out in the open.-----Let me remind you though that governments, in a democracy, are the people. So if the people don't agree with the government, continue bitching about it (you don't have to stop), but if you do, take action as well.

Mike_The_Revelator
I think Assange and wikileaks are the best thing to happen in my lifetime and I am not a young man. The USG has lied to the real United States - it's citizens - for decades, while foisting off a bastardized form of patriotism, nationalism, to kill our children and innocent men, women and children throughout the world, but primarily in this hemisphere and the Middle East. The last ten years they've conducted a bogus war on terrorism, that will never be over because they've given no parameters. It's all about imperialism, making the rich elite richer, and taking away our rights and stifling dissent.. Hardly anybody noticed. They notice now. I finally have hope for the future. We have a lot to answer for and as the Reverend Wright said, "The chickens are coming home to roost." Finally. Free Brad Manning. Viva Assange and wikileaks. I wish there were a hundred more Julian Assanges. It's time that six percent of the world's population stopped telling the other 94 percent what to do, and quit using 25 percent of the world's resources which we've been able to steal through deceit, death and lies. toyo
Just some things. At this level (governments involved), nothing is what it seems. Reserve for yourself the right to be surprised by ulterior developments. Please observe that none of the "revelations" is lethal in some way to the USA. Also, the "revelations" are hardly surprising to anyone with a living brain and some knowledge of modern history.A war/revolution is coming. I think the bad guys need a statistic... how many of us are still dumb and blind and how many are mind-enabled and maybe brave enough to fight. I think you know of the CIA mirror of the leaks. How about the "insurance-file" that does nothing (let's say for now)? Why is it so big (it should be text mostly)? Who are Anonymous and why did they choose trackers - the Wikileaks mirror sites are up all around already. Please note that I am not making any affirmations. I don't believe anything. I just raise some questions and give reasons to doubt (everything!).So don't be to happy, too soon. Keep your smiles for when there's really a reason. You can never debate a generalized statement. However, let's put things in perspective. The government is made of people in charge of managing the affairs of the people as a nation. Since humans are not perfect, therefor, the government is never perfect.Give me one government that did not lie to its people. Even parents lied to their own children. We lie to our friends and family. So, it is naive to expect that government is somehow better. Hello! So the question is, why do we lie? Why do we not tell the truth? Because we don't always know the truth. As far as Assange and Wikileaks, I don't care. Do what ever. As far as Manning, he did it for the wrong reasons. I have issue with that. Olexijl
Well, may i put something inside?I appreciate Julian Assange as a person, who is trying to change the rules of politics. Maybe we never will have the world, like Julian wishes, but he is trying to change something.Wikileaks - later on Openleaks - is an organisation, which opens given true facts to public. All these facts are proofed, before they are published. So you can trust them. Truth is not always pleasant or enjoyable. This is why some coutries are trying not to open these facts, because they are unpopular. This explains, why Julian becomes some runaway, need to be captured. This happened in London right now. (+1)Everyone needs to be aware of the following about INFORMATION.1. Information can be factual. (Jonny was born in 1978.)2. Information can be false. (Jonny is the kindest man in the world.)3. Information can be misleading. (Jonny would never hurt a plant.)4. Information can be incomplete. (Jonny did not touch that woman. [who?, when?, where?])5. Information can change. (Jonny stopped jogging after a car accident.)6. TRUTH always does not equal FACT.As an example of #6:It is a fact that my neighbor thinks that I am a homosexual. The truth is I like any thing that is alive and capable of walking upright. For more examples, please go to the nearest library and read any history book.Wikileaks - later on Openleaks - is an organisation, which opens given true facts to public.
