At-least it's NOT me.

I have met some people on a well known site who have 8GB DDR3 RAM.

Well I think 2-3 GB is enough in current times, considering Windows 7. God know how much fast it would be than Vista?

I had to add 8GB because of the virtual machines. Most of the times I would have Vista64, Vista86, and XP86 (x2) running at the same time. This is in addition to the other programs I have running. I just added a SSD HD and I am complete. I am just doing my part to stimulate the economy. Unfortunately, I'm back to being poor again. You just can't win by loosing.

well at least you have an answer

what about the rest?

surely you didn't get 4-8 GB just so you could multi-box (or whatever the therm is) in WOW...

512 MB + 512MB = 1024 MB = 1 GB DDR1 SD RAM + ATI Radeon 9000 256 MB.
