this is turning out a nightmare. i have been using avast for past 8 months with no problem, but this latest beta version causes so many crashes and block even windows drivers . after installing it i have to reformat my computer

If your running x64 windows dont Install 5.1.803 Beta It has a bug with .net apps wait tell next beta release

if still want to beta test to it try again on x64 wait tell the next beta.

that's why there called beta there not stable have bugs .

use the stable tell they fix it at lest. or just stick with stable tell is released stable :D

The best thing to do when testing alpha / beta software is to install it in a virtual environment ^_^

The thing was in v5.0 builds there was no real bad bugs in the last betas :)

This beta here if you install it in a x64 environment any thing that relies on .net v2 as soon as it tires to start up it will give a error window and close it shuts your .net stuff down :fear:
