Winamp is more than just a media player. It's your window to the multimedia world. From MP3s to streaming video, Winamp is the one place you go to feed your audio/video habit. Its Online Services includes over 10,000 SHOUTcast Radio stations and 250 Internet TV channels. Winamp was born as a very basic media player and has slowly but consistently improved for many years. Its main purpose was to be completely customizable and through the years, many people have contributed to a library that now consists of numerous skins and plug-ins.

Thanks to Alexandr for the update.

@heath28m: Found a visualization I wanted. :D

Real Song View. It's a AVS, thanks to your tip on not allowing Winamp to change the AVS every minute. Simple, nice, looks very similar to WMP after customizing it. I've customized it to look like this:

v8Beus.jpg

:)

Only one problem, the wave is so fast that it overlaps the previous wave, is there any to solve it, it makes it look less clear.

I will have to have a look and install it to see.. may need a tweak in the code.. ( may be designed to do it that way.. ) Pretty sure we can get it like you want... Also if you switched over to the 2.81d, I found that last night.. and something I have done in the past especially after tweaking a bunch of settings.. That going into the Plugins folder.. and renaming the vis_avs.dat file to .old on the end.. can somehow improve the performance to what 2.81d is supposed to be.. if you still experience any issues not for sure why or what but mine is running great after.. better than before and it hasn't written a new one.. but I kept the old file just in case...

I killed my Winamp the other night.. switched output plugins and it wouldn't switch back.. so I had to go into AppData and manually switch the plugin in the Winamp.ini .. almost never remembered ho to do it..LOLI will post back in a few..

Well I just screwed-up after working on it.. BUT you can add a FrameLimiter.. somewhere between 22 and 30 FPM it seemed to overlap.. but when the beats are heavier..and the activity is more it looks as though it is simply part of how its rendered.. I was going to upload what I did so you could see.. but after loosing an hour and half of work or w/e .. LOL.. I dunno maybe it would be easier the second time around.. It crashed when I added and tried to remove a Global Variable..

I added a Rendering Buffer.. I took the dot grid to 2px.. and just off black so it looks like a texture.. .. added a Center Channel went darker blue for the inside color and Bright blue for the outside line which I Blended to 3px wide.. and added x2 Fast Brightness.. I was playing some heavier 'Artsy' Techno and seemed cleared on the rendering than it ever did on the Lines by themselves...but inevitably it happened.. eventually..

ANYWAY.. I added some stuff you should play around with to see if you can get it clearer.. I save it in the last settings I had it in.. but you should look at Mirror.. and some of the brightness and Blending.. simple stuff here.. I didn't leave it on the one I liked.. You can add your stuff to it to in the right place so on.. :D

Its a bit messy for me to do it this way.. LOL.. and a long time nevertheless.. My config wound up looking like Traktor's display... and well is probably blazing fast for you... OH and check the position of the Scopes BTW.. I did leave two on in two different places.. LOL oops..

BTW: I am almost certain you would have better results from a custom SuperScope.. BUT it take some time and knowing the equations... I know there are some tuts around but I am not for sure where right now..

This is great. Outstanding work.

How did you add Unknown Rendered Object? Well the frame rate is around 37 here. Too fast for me. And nah, remember I have ATI 5450, one of the biggest POS graphics card. :P

Well its sort of about the rendering not really about the FPS your card can take.. so on mine when I turned it down.. the overlap sort of disappeared.. Playing with OnBeat Clear.. Some other stuff right now..

Did you have an object not render correctly? Lost on the Unknown... LOLCoudl be because the versions are different.. I already have two other versions.. LOL.. Days on this stuff.. :lmao: without realizing it..

Yeah the FPS limiter is the "Unknown Rendered Object". Can't seem to find a FPS limiting option in the new (+) rendering slider. And yes, I think limiting the FPS will surly decrease the overlapping.

Have invested soooo many days on this. :D . Too bad, everything I do in AVS looks like super tech of Windows 98 times. :P They should do something to make things look modern in the AVS.

There's only Add Borders here. The only FPS option I can see here is in the Settings > Display > there's a slider for Window performance one end saying low frame rate and another saying high frame rate. This can do but doesn't look that great then. Wonder what WMP's wave's FPS would be.
