sanjoa
Hi, guys! I've got a problem (maybe) with svchost.exe process: it is using a lot of band width, making my connection speed decrease. I do terminate svchost connections using Comodo Firewall, to make my connection speed increase. Is this normal or my Windows installation is broken? (Win7 X64 ult). No virus found using ESET NOD32 v. 4.
tipo
scan your system with hitman pro and malwarebytes to be sure.
Administrator DKT27 Posted November 30, 2010 Administrator Share Posted November 30, 2010 Well, I think it even does that on my PC, but rather in a unnoticeable way. If you have "Prio" installed. Open Task Manger > TCP/IP tab > hover over the svchost thingy (all of the svchosts you see could be different connections of the same/single svchost). And see where it is trying to connect. Of course clicking on the traffic thingy in Comodo can also do.
