WinRAR keygen listing

Every time I click to download the keygen, it redirects me to the nsane main page.

I never had a problem with downloading from proxy.nsane, so I added it to the exclusions for ESET for good measure.

Still no luck. =/

Could it be a broken link?

Seems to work with Internet Explorer so I've narrowed it down to Firefox being the issue.

I've studied this thread:http://www.nsaneforums.com/topic/1353-downloads-wont-work/ inside and out but to avail :(

It's very strange; everything worked fine yesterday and I didn't change any firefox settings.

And I can't find any setting in Firefox relating to referrers.

Are you using Tab Mix plus? Tried clearing your cache and cookies?

Some plugin that updated maybe? Another AV installed? Any changes to your system, even seemingly unrelated? (I do suppose it happens with ALL proxy links on the frontpage, right? (If you verify it's more than just the one that would be nice :)))

This could be similar to what was happening to me the other day...

Can you give a list of Extensions you have installed inside spoiler tags? Might find a common thread.. Seems to be everything hosted on nsane.down.. redirects work just fine..

Example:

Each one formed differently, yet does the same thing..

It appears that all my downloads to proxy.nsane are affected.(I was mistaken)

I do not have Tab Mix Plus

My addons installed:

Adblock Plus

BlackSheep

Download Statusbar

DownThemAll!

Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus

Facebook Photozoom

FaviconizeTab

FireGestures

Fission

Google Analtics Opt-out Browser addon

Google Redesigned

Greasemonkey (with no scripts that modify nsane or proxy.nsane)

HTTPS Everywhere

IE tab plus

PermaTabs Mod

ProfileSwitcher

SkipScreen

StrataBuddy

VTzilla

Webmail Notifier

No changed made in my system except that I re-installed ESET Smart Security. (Which I disabled to see if it was the problem, and was not the cause)

The 2 examples both redirect me to the main page.

Okay I just fixed mine..

  • Open about:config ...

  • network.http.sendRefererHeader
    in search area...

  • Change setting to 2.. or right-click and choose 'reset'

  • Without doing anything, try it..

Now I am not for sure if it is because I use Firefox 'InPrivate' Setting 24/7.. or if the value was changed by the Tor Extension.. but it was set to 0.. I searched for referral settings in about:config and found this.. tested it and everything was fine.. But it was indicated as a changed value.. The Tor extension is supposed to only change this while it is on.. BUT.. it has its own entry.. so I am not for sure if this in place for other reasons.. but works fine otherwise..

These Extensions are the only ones we have in common...

  • Adblock Plus

  • DownThemAll!

  • Fission

Unless your using Private Browsing.. I dunno...

I've confirmed that both of you have empty ("-") referrers as well (by checking the access logs).

Also confirmed heath28m fixed his (it is now showing a referrer).

I posted on the other one too.. where the guys system is not sending systems-wide.. I believe this is going to be in the Internet Options for his Computer... Posted on how to hide.. so that he could reverse engineer it.. Newer version may have this setting in Advanced Options but I haven't verified just yet..

Glad that it's fixed. Something I'll try to remember when anyone faces this problem again. :)
