Crack doesn't work says that I do not have permission to copy the .dll into the folder?

Restart PC in Safe Mode , then u will have permission to copy .dll file .

the problem is that you didn`t disable the self-defense.

Right click avast! tray icon --> program settings -->'Troubleshooting' tab --> check- 'Disable avast! self-defense module'

I've heard, that it isn't reccomended to update Avast!-s defenations too, because it will start saying, that the key is invalid

I was actually using a license file, and since today switched to the fixed dll (ty tonyblair), however I was still getting the issues where avast advises you that you may be using an illegal key *cough*, BUT it doesn't seem to disable the subscription and still says your valid. I wouldn't expect this to last much longer before there's either a core engine update to null the dll or the license is blacklisted.

Considering switching to Kaspersky, but I always seem to have issues running it with outpost, and I simply refuse to remove outpost firewall.

Edit : Tried ESET, doesn't like outpost. Used Acronis to revert back to avast 5.0677 and the .dll. and still updating fine. (lets see for how long)

Oh yeah btw, the only way to replace the .dll is to start in safe mode as already stated.

This is a tough one. Even if you have permission it won't let you copy over the .dll. There is a license that slipstreams into the program, but it will give the message (That you may be using an illegal copy.) Is this a guess on their part - or they don't want to offend a potential buyer?

The old one had a Keygen that worked! Why not build one for this version. Anyway it's one of the best out there currently. Hmmmn safe mode eh. ^_^

PS what is the major difference between the Pro and the Freebie anyway?

after you copy the .dll ,u could use the illegal key to update the avast ?

That's indeed a good question... Does it works with the Avast! IS?

why would you use a license key if you use the cracked .dll?

Hmm... I'm trying to know if the cracked .dll work on any version of avast! products, not beta... i mean... i'm using brazilian one... key files are working flawless... but last time i tried installing it with the AIS i got a big hammer on my face. =\

the cracked .dll works with the pro and and internet security version that it is created for. what i mean is that the v5.0.577 works with 5.0.577 cracked .dll.

the cracked 5.0.577 version .dll doesn`t work with 5.0.677 of the AV or IS.

the versions posted by me are just some examples. i don`t really know what are the real versions out there.

You do realise the FREE version is pretty much the same as the paid one don't you? I believe the only practical difference is the sandbox technology and you can use secondary sandbox software if you want.

Yep. I do realize that. But why having a free antivir and a paid sandboxie when you can have both in one software?

you can`t compare avast`s sandbox with sandboxie...

Why not? [my connection is hurting my feeling, could comment what the video is about?]
