jalaffa
Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a tool to increase download speeds, resume and schedule downloads. Comprehensive error recovery and resume capability will restart broken or interrupted downloads due to lost connections, network problems, computer shutdowns, or unexpected power outages. Simple graphic user interface makes IDM user friendly and easy to use. Internet Download Manager has a smart download logic accelerator that features intelligent dynamic file segmentation and safe multipart downloading technology to accelerate your downloads. Unlike other download managers and accelerators Internet Download Manager segments downloaded files dynamically during download process and reuses available connections without additional connect and login stages to achieve best acceleration performance.Download

Marik
this release is too fast...dave fuc*ked up something in build 8, so prob beta 10 won't be the final....he said this a week ago. We will probably be testing the beta version for 3-4 more weeks .Best regards,Dave SaegerIDM SupportTonec Inc.I don't know why he keeps pushing out these many beta's....it should be a beta every week or so, or he should just release a beta with a big chI mean what kind of a ch is this http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/data/update601.txt
Night Owl
@ Marik: Thanks for the update. :) OK, forget Build 10 as the last beta, we'll just have to wait 2 to 3 more weeks for the final release. :(@ fl0ppy:  Too funny. Yes, that's certainly what I've been doing the last few days: apply Windows updates and reboot, update program 1 & reboot, disable ESET Self-defense & reboot, update ESET & reboot, re-enable ESET Self-defense & reboot, update program 2 & reboot, update ...

mara-
I find it ridiculous to reboot when installing download manager. I mean, when I update my nVidia graphic drivers I don't have to reboot any more. I find it hard to believe that installing a download manager is more complicated that graphic drivers.Cheers ;)

*dcs18
@ Night OwlTried this build thrice on the 455 MB Adobe Acrobat Pro X download from 3 different machines - successfully each time (they've got rid of that bug.) ;)
Night Owl
@ dcs18Good to hear that IDM 6.03 Build 9 Beta doesn't have that bug for large downloads. :D I updated my notebook yesterday morning and now it's time for my netbook. Another install and reboot.
