Hitman Pro 3 will quickly show if your PC is infected with malicious software. Research shows that many computers are infected, even if they have an up-to-date security suite installed, and that a combination of different anti malware programs would be required to prevent infection. Hitman Pro 3 uses innovative cloud computing techniques to detect and remove potential malware threats with minimal impact on system performance. A further benefit of this technology is that you need never again download definitions on a hourly / daily basis as this is all managed in the cloud further reducing the impact on your PC. Scanning your PC is free for the life of the product. Users can take a paid for subscription to cover malware removal after the first 30 days free use.

if you downloaded from nsane.down/nsane.forums you can use it. it`s ok. if you downloaded from another source it`s your problem.

It is safe, do not worry.

Patch is not packed , but it is made by well known patcher program, it would be flagged as infected no matter for which app patch is made.

You can delete patch after using it and then scan the system, you will see that you are not infected.

That is just fight against piracy from AV vendors.

Almost every patch / crack is flagged as infected.

Instead of patch I could release already patched executable file, result would be the same and that file would not be flagged as infected.

Anyhow, this is just temporary until tony is back , I'm doing it so that people wouldn't have to wait for his comeback and latest Hitman fix.

If someone is still scared , please don't use it.

i have problem here.

actually i have removed the previous version patched by tonyblair from start menu group.

after running the latest version i realized that there is no installation window.

what i mean is hitman run without installation procedure as usual.

after that i applied your patch.

i can see it is working.

but 'scan with hitman pro' option box is blurred out.

can you help me with this?

I don't know mate , maybe there was something wrong with previous uninstallation.

btw you don't have to uninstall previous version, hitman pro auto-updates itself when there is new version.

Anyhow, I have that option working, so I really can't tell why you don't have it, but it's not patch related for sure.

Okay, I just read on Hitman forum and by chance someone asked the same thing describing your problem.

This is the answer :

The checkboxes are greyed out when Hitman Pro is not installed on the computer (not running from the Program Files folder). This means that you have either chosen No in the Setup dialog (that appears when you press Next) -or- you started Hitman Pro for the first time and went straight to the Settings dialog.

The 'Protection against LNK' checkbox is also grayed out when your computer was already patched with the proper Microsoft patch that fixes the LNK exploit.

thanks for helping.

i know it wasnt becaused of the patch.

i have encountered such problem before.

what i did was delete anything that related to hitman registry from regedit and folder from 'program data' folder that which is hidden.

but it was loongg time ago and i cant quite remember the exact thing i did.

roughly thats the situation.

can you help me identify the correct registry entry which is 'logically' related to hitman that i can safely delete?

im running win7.

thanks you.

p/s : problem solved! :D

delete hitman program folder

delete hitman program data (hidden)

delete all registry entries that 'logically' related to hitman

delete hitmanpro.sys from windows system folder

i think that was all i did just now.
