- Audio errors during content playing are fixed.

- Decision logic for content(AVI) scanning fixed.

- DXVA2 H.264 performance improved.

- DXVA2 MPEG2 bug fixed.

- File playing start speed improved.

- MP2, ATRAC3, H.261 codec bug fixed.

- Resizing of Preference page.

- Synchronizing errors between Video and Audio channels are fixed.

Btw, fans of the KM Player may also want to check out "Daum Pot Player." It's a new Korean media player by the original author of the KM Player and it has the advantage that he is currently still working on, developing and updating Pot Player. Many regard it as "the new KM Player." I don't think he still has any connection with the KM Player.

I agree with u what u have told.everything same but audio quality is superb in kmplaYER.good bass and digital clear clarity is there in kmplayer.

Just now kmplayer updated with the same version..

I strongly recommend everyone to download da setup again.player had been fixed just now on da same link with the same version number.if u wont believe u can go to official Kmplayer forum n can see there whats written in da official forum.an error had been FIXED.SO download again..thank u

When i install thia latest version KMplayer and when i start player i got mesage warning that KMplayer always download from oficial site. I tra to find in options to disable that but nothing.

Any idea or tip pls ?

I think this is the latest version in English, of Daum PotPlayer ( v. 1.5.25231 Beta, dated 2010-10-21 ) , and I liked so much that decided to use it . It`s even better than " The KMPlayer " that I was using sense a few years ago.

What are the advantages over KMPlayer? I been use it for a while now and finally I configured it just the way I want it, so there better be some serious advantages for me to start from scratch :s

not maybe complete answer.. but i remembered it was.. possibly i wrote about it elsewhere. but now i'm falling asleep and i gotta wake in 4 hours... Zzz

The advantage as I see it is that the genius who developed the KM Player is working his magic again with Pot Player. And he has improved the interface, is keeping it updated to the latest codecs etc., and added some cool features like the player will remember where you stopped playing a movie and you can close the player and when you open it again, it will pick up where you left off.

Also, it's a lot like the KM Player, so pretty easy to adjust to it. I'm still using both because Pop Player is still in beta but it's already very good and there are some great skins for it floating around.

As far as I can tell, the audio is at least as good as the KM Player and I find the interface a bit easier to work with, but that might in part be due to the skin I'm using.
