Zeus_Hunt
Every time I have tried it I have burnt my fingers :(Last time I installed it and ran reg cleaner... I got a BSODI thought it had to Mature more ...I saw the the new update.. thought I will give it a go.I like the GUI quite a lot..Installed..Soon after its installation it wanted to perform a quick scan of the unit.. OK..Soon I recievedPerformance Warnings by my Norton31-10-2010 18:14,Info,High Handles usage by: COMODO System Cleaner Updater ,Detected,No Action Required Handles Used - 17,021This finished which was Quite Longer than CCleaner would have taken.. but then it performed the reg scan also... so.. it OKThen after a min I get31-10-2010 18:19,Info,High Handles usage by: cleaner_validator.exe ,Detected,No Action Required Handles Used - 33,215Considering my complete unit is at 25,000 Handles with lots of apps open.. 33,000+ is infuriating... cleaner_validator.exe Consuming 60Mb up of Memory and 60-80% of CPU when the app is not open.. Not exactly sure what it does..OK...Lets see how it performed...Not many files to clean.. not a single registry to clean... hmmmI had used CCleaner some hours back.. OK .. CCleaner did a great job then :)I only use reg cleaning service by CCleaner... which is safest cleaner.. it hardly finds anything for me.. I understand it does not do a thorough cleaning.Hence I was expecting a few more obsolete registry entries than "0"Gr8. Uninstalled.

Uninstalled.Agree with you regarding "it" not being too good of a tool and getting BSOD's in the past (same as me)Tried this build myself and would try to explain your misfortune... 1- Once you AV started to block certain process any scanning app would try to restart the process- high RAM usage; next results of scan, then you need to specify as cleaning and it did found few things to clean on my sys after AceUt. and CCleaner scans (and cleans) ; another issue is might have been, that you have started system protection process (such is not great, it doubles up with your AV tasks)...After a full scan; Cleaning separately (you can specify as what to and not to) it had not done nothing bad to my sys. and had not caused crash, whilst registry management got ever so slight improvement. Not bad!- I'll keep this build! but as a tool I'd rate 7/10 exceptionally good in some areas, needs a bit of work on others...
