Sorry to ask this seemingly dumb question but,how compatible is this application with our ordinary antivirus software: Eset, Kaspersky? :think: Any known incompatibility issues?

Maybe this will answer your question.. maybe not.. but WinPatrol.. is actually a HIPS/HIDS type of protection..so it should not present problem.. except where incompatibilities with UAC ( which is one of those types as well ) .. or already existing protection is concerned such as HIPS/HIDS is concerned for your existing suite..

EDIT: Personally I would not run it with ESS in place.. or other suites which offer such protection already.. possibly not necessarily incompatibilities but over usage of system resources which are un-necessary

Winpatrol should not have any incompatibility issues with antiviruses ... at least known.

WinPatrol has long been a favorite utility of mine & been using with ESS for over 2 year, Never had a problem ;)

WinPatrol is easy to understand, yet quiet powerful.

There are different levels of malware detection. WinPatrol is a great utility for spotting activity that most virus scanners and spyware removal tools will miss... Cheers..:D

I've used WinPatrol beside KIS 2010 and now with KIS 2011, never had any problem.

WinPatrol is one of those rare programs that is a tremendous value at the price he asks for it.

He's pretty much just a one man operation too. I would suggest here to anyone that appreciates WinPatrol that they spend a few bucks to support this program.
