jalaffa
As a robust security monitor, WinPatrol will alert you to hijackings, malware attacks and critical changes made to your computer without your permission. WinPatrol was the pioneer in using a heuristic behavioural approach to detecting attacks and violations of your computing environment. Traditional security programs scan your hard drive searching for previously identified threats. WinPatrol takes snapshot of your critical system resources and alerts you to any changes that may occur without your knowledge. You'll be removing dangerous new programs while others prepare to update their definition/signature data files. WinPatrol PLUS provides easy to understand descriptions of over 20,000 programs.Download

Siddharta
Sorry to ask this seemingly dumb question but,how compatible is this application with our ordinary antivirus software: Eset, Kaspersky? Any known incompatibility issues? Thanks! :hi:
HX1
Maybe this will answer your question.. maybe not.. but WinPatrol.. is actually a HIPS/HIDS type of protection..so it should not present problem.. except where incompatibilities with UAC ( which is one of those types as well ) .. or already existing protection is concerned such as HIPS/HIDS is concerned for your existing suite..EDIT: Personally I would not run it with ESS in place.. or other suites which offer such protection already.. possibly not necessarily incompatibilities but over usage of system resources which are un-necessary
Sl@pSh0ck™
Winpatrol should not have any incompatibility issues with antiviruses ... at least known.
Brrownie
WinPatrol has long been a favorite utility of mine & been using with ESS for over 2 year, Never had a problem ;) WinPatrol is easy to understand, yet quiet powerful. There are different levels of malware detection. WinPatrol is a great utility for spotting activity that most virus scanners and spyware removal tools will miss... Cheers..:D

Ehsan
I've used WinPatrol beside KIS 2010 and now with KIS 2011, never had any problem.
bwop
WinPatrol is one of those rare programs that is a tremendous value at the price he asks for it. He's pretty much just a one man operation too. I would suggest here to anyone that appreciates WinPatrol that they spend a few bucks to support this program.
