I have made a step by step guide on how to remove malware from a computer. I would like to know what you think about it.

I will be updating it as I go on. I would greatly appreciate any info on how to make it better. :)

Just curious as to why you have removed that step.. is it redundant in the instructions or are you not seeing the need for it?

Reason I ask is because I honestly feel that would be needed, while not all infections would require it.. It is good t check and for proper Windows function it is a good idea to be sure to remove the entries.. even though some security packages do not do it.. IMO..

I removed it because I don't see the need for it anymore and also because people were complaining about that step.

Well.. I sort of stated my concern above.. but in a way you have to consider how many and what would people actually complain about taking the necessary steps to properly clean it up... It could be better to leave the step in .. Just an opinion.. but sometimes its best to realize what really is motivating the complaint and if its validated..

Me... I am going to be cleaning and covering that area for myself and anything I come across..
