Administrator DKT27 Posted October 18, 2010 Administrator Share Posted October 18, 2010 This is the original product from which Everest had taken a license. Now when this program is back, it seems that Everest may not be (ever) updated. So this is may well a replacement for Everest on our FP. ;)

Siddharta
So can we confirm that Everest is no more, that it has stopped existing?
jalaffa
Not confirmed defunct as of yet, thus Lite decided to list this parallel to it.
sanjoa
What's difference between bussines and extreme edition?Oh! Just to make you know, link to their website is wrong: it says http://http//www.aida64.com/ instead of http://www.aida64.com
jalaffa
You get there in the end though (I'll correct it!), Unsure about listing the Business version. It's of no use for the average user.

harpua
The business version does not have the "Vista Sidebar" feature which enables the user to put sensor data on the desktop via a gadget (works in W7 too). So for me the extreme version is better because I like to put up a bunch of temps on the desktop via the gadget.
Administrator DKT27 Posted October 18, 2010 Administrator Share Posted October 18, 2010 Here's some info from their site:AIDA64 Extreme Edition: Industry leading system diagnostics and benchmarking solution for enthusiasts PC users, based on the award-winning AIDA Technology. Exhaustive details of system information on 100 pages including CPU, FPU, disk and memory benchmarks, advanced hardware monitoring and diagnostics capabilities.AIDA64 Business Edition: A new standard in automated network management to lower IT operational and purchasing costs by providing full range of solutions for administrators and helpdesk staff including security alerts and customized reports covering hardware and software information, network audit, change management and network monitoring. From the looks of it, as jalaffa mentioned, is less likely that any normal user will benefit from Business Edition. Seems more server based.
