Night Owl
81.4% looks scary to me. :fear: I wouldn't run it.
avmad
I was thinking it must be bad. As far as I know theres no trial available for this, so you have to buy it. The download came with a text with code and email etc to register it with. So shouldn't the installer be totally clean?Im trying to remove all traces of it as it looks very dodgy. Thanks

pmalc
Don't run it, because the reported virus names are not those usually in false positive.

HX1
Just as a rule of thumbs as it has been for several years.. there is only one.. Stardock app that has been appropriate on all accounts.. and the only way to properly register is to change your system SID. system wide.. which I do not recommend.. WindowsBlinds may be a different story but I don't use it because there shouldn't be even more usage for system UI than there already is.. IMO.. LOL .. so I dunno.. I wanted ObjectBar.. think it was looking around to find a full version to try..never did.. so I said forget it and since then have really changed my focus and objectivity on eye candy and how its done anyway.. Still love it.. just better at it.. ( IMO )
avmad
I've got object dock (keygen) thats why I was curious about this one. But atm my desktop is empty apart from the taskbar -_- I never use one for long without it crashing or getting deleted or something anyway. HX1
Mine you can see over in the Desktop thread.. looking for a link.. and on dA.. for the most part I have on Rainmeter Config or one Samurize Config.. which takes care of all repositories/monitoring and resources.. and if I can't trigger something with a hotkey and keep it out of my way otherwise its gone..I always looked at it this way.. Redundancy and efficiency.... ( but I can still flip it on its head ) I mean if you want to try to loose the taskbar altogether fine.. but ObjectDock Plus technically is a copy of anything you can do with shortcut keys and the Properties dialog.. without the loss of screen real estate.. Plus you have to take the time to get the dock just as you want it then.. if you change your system appearance you have to adjust it.. So While I like it in some ways.. I never ran it.. Took too much on resources for what it was.. and I already had something that ran for this purpose anyway.. which can be made completely customizable.. SO.. when I switched to 7.. I seen no loss in it at all... There are several little programs I sort of see that way.. Some of them I still keep just n case I want to play around with a new look or need specific functionality.. and for some reason I always think .. that if I am ever helping someone else with it.. that they will always come in handy.. and the thing about never knowing all of the radical factors involved when changing a system for specific uses.. ( Anyway you can convert Windows 7 Superbar/TaskBar into a dock anyway now.. )Like last night.. I found too Programs .. miniMIZE and another one for XP.. both had some cool options for minimizing your windows to small thumbnails on the desktop... but I already use TT with Winroll.. and use Windows Hotkeys.. which cover all of the basic functionality on my system without taking up any more resources and are much faster..Then I played with GD++.. Turning my fonts into Linux and Mac rendered fonts.. on screen.. which was okay.. but while there is a plus there is also a disadvantage.. and still instances when the other rendering engine still fails to deliver..LOL.. Lots of little extras in about 90 GB of stuff.. and thats with all of the larger files removed and on Disc.. Some of this really comes into play when you are trying to get the most out of old hardware.. and in a way it seems t keep it focused.. and without causing more maintenance an issues.. The next thing would be to upgrade and use some DirectX 11 toys on a better system.. ( even at that some thing I will not need and are very specific to certain usages.. )
