DKT27 upgrade frorm 3.14 NOW!! -peace ;)

I was still on Comodo Firewall 3.14 on my laptop, but I upgraded last night. Comodo Firewall 5.0.162636.1135 is working great on Windows 7 x64. :)

GUI, it could have been better. I'm not liking it much. Is more simple to my liking :P . Will love to get new colors as it was for v4. :D

EDIT: Don't quite understand desktop shortcut icons. Haven't seen many people starting a firewall manually. Also, don't remember any options for not starting Comodo on boot.

The only use that I can see for the Comodo desktop icon is after you select a new colour theme, you have to exit Comodo and restart it. It's a bit of a nuisance to have to restart Comodo over and over. :s

The GUI didn't fascinate me, either - they're introducing additional skins, though.

BTW, wonder why they had to change the lovely tray icon - the previous one was far better defined and even the animations on the color bands denoting the internet traffic; contrasted well against the icon. :(

Yes, the previous white tray icon made it easier to see the network traffic animations. Too bad there's no way to change the new red tray icon. :(

I switched between the Blue, dBlue, and Indigo colours, but I finally settled on Blue. No more need for the desktop icon now. :D

The G-Data tray icon :D lol. I turned off the traffic animation, didn't like it at all. But im sticking with the default colours, looks quite nice to me.

@Night Owl: I almost forgot that you can close Comodo by right clicking the tray icon, I always tried closing it from task manager and was denied. :D

I was not aware that new themes were released. After restarting Comodo 3-4 times, it takes too much time to close though, I'm sticking to dBlue. :)

Yes, I'm not fond of this new tray, the traffic animation is not quite clear and good looking now.

It seems COMODO has updated their Firewall from 5.0.162636.1135 to 5.0.163652.1142 ^_^
