<img src="http://www.nsanedown.com/images/logos/Maxthonv2.png" class="logo" alt="Maxthon" title="Maxthon" />Maxthon is a powerful web browser with a highly customizable interface. It is based on the Internet Explorer engine which means that what works in IE, works the same in Maxthon but with many additional efficient features like Tabbed Browsing Interface, Mouse Gestures, Super Drag&Drop, Privacy Protection, AD Hunter, Google Bar Support, External Utility Bar and Skinning.

Fast browsing! Speed is very nice. They still have 95% of all links opening in a new tab & no option to change this tab behavior. The new interface has a "menu" button on the right & then has a GIANT icon on the left for logging in to your Maxthon account & syncs your bookmarks. I read the forum and several users complained about this giant icon. Uses I.E.'s proxy settings and lacks independent network interface. Their really close with one. If I were not a gecko junkie this could easily be my default browser until I.E. 9 leaks out! I give IE9 24hrs before every warez site has a link!

Very fast, beacuse they're implemented two render engines. I like it. Am I wrong or addons doesn't work with 3.0? Now I have serious dilemma - Opera or Maxthon. :sneaky:

P.S. Homepage link is wrong. ;) To 3.0 should be:

Also, the Changelog link is wrong. It's still pointing to version 2.5. The version 3.0 changelog is found here:
