So, I've been constantly installing and reinstalling Alcohol 120% from here because it never seems to work for more than a few days at a time, even when the keymaker says it's all good, etc.

I was trying to patch it all again today, and Norton popped up and told me that keymaker was trying to access the internet. Now, why would any keygen need to do that?

Curious, I wanted to know where it was headed to... see pic:

Interesting, eh?

it was probably just catching the host values it adds, cause it's never tried to access the net on me before (installed it for a few friends). does it do that everytime you try to use the keymaker? :sneaky:

btw, there is a patch option if the URL block isn't working for you :)

No, this is the first time it's done that to me. And the patch option fails on me every time I try it. (vista problem?)

Anyways, Norton blocked it. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. :sneaky:

Well SHITMANTEC will do those things to you...

The keymaker/patcher by BetaMaster doesn't access the net except to add the host values NSANE is talking about...

You should actually just edit your own host file and tell it NEVER to permit you to download or view the alcohol page by ip...

Which is the following:

195.137.236.101

BTW...get a new AV/Security Suite bro! :)
