No More E-mails for Watched Topics!?

Recommended Posts

I am watching several topics (and one forum) with the instant E-mail notification set.

I used to get instant E-mail notifications, but not anymore. They just stopped:angry:.

I tried to remove and re-add the topics but it didn't help.

My E-mail address is correct and the E-mails are not in the SPAM box.

Any suggestions..???

I notice that your e-mail address has some unfamiliar domain name in it (*i**g2**v@sa*.*r.com), it could be that your domain is actively blocking e-mails from our domain, which would explain them not getting through. Some domains don't seem to like ours (quote from Lite).

I can't find any error logs about your e-mail address.

Make sure you have selected the right settings in your User CP (My Settings). Make sure the first two (from 'Topics & Posts' are set to 'Email').

If this doesn't work you might try making a Hotmail/Gmail address (and change it here) and then forward the mails from that address to your own address, pretty easy to set up.

ps before trying that you might want to wait for Lite to reply ;)

Well, I confirmed the CP settings

I changed my E-mail address. I will see if this helped

Who is "Lite"?

I notice you have already changed your email address to a Gmail one and i will assume everything is working as intended.

With regard to your previous email address; there are no rejected or queued emails from our server. So it looks to be a remote server problem (i.e. at the end of your mail provider).

Yes, I changed to a Gmail address to troubleshoot and I now get the notification E-mails again. I will change back to my previous E-mail now. Curious to see what will happen.....

Nope, the original E-mail still does not work. I didn't even get the validation E-mail after changing my E-mail...

Very strange, my original E-mail worked for several months with this forum until the E-mails suddenly disappeared. Still works fine with E-mails from all other sources.

Checked the server, nothing blocked from nsane there either. :frusty:

This could depend on where your email servers/service is located.. several large outages today in the US.. could have something to do with the BIGGER system wide network reset..LOL

EVER feel like Cartman's Trip To 'The Internet' .. that HUGE WRT router..LOL

I cannot investigate at this moment, as mails from our server seem to be sent and received correctly by the remote mail server for your mail provider.
